The Adaptive Technology Center provides assessments, consultation, and training for educationally related service providers and parents to support the implementation of Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) for students with complex communication needs.
The Center also houses a large inventory of equipment designated for students with low incidence disabilities and determined by the IEP team to be needed in order to access their education.
The Center provides services to individuals with Low Incidence disabilities from birth to age 22 who are enrolled in a public school in Sonoma County.
The Center offers consultation and assessment services, equipment trial, equipment loan and reuse, and training and support for how to use assistive technology devices
