The Desired Results Developmental Profile  is a formative assessment instrument developed by the California Department of Education for young children and their families to be used to inform instruction and program development. It is administered every year to infants, toddlers, and preschool age students with IFSPs or IEPs. Below there is additional information and resources about the assessment, timelines, and training required to administer it. 

 

DRDP Training: Anyone administering the DRDP must complete a 2 part training requirement.

 

*Reminder: TK is not mandatory for reporting in 23/24

 

Important Fall 2023 Dates

Observation Period:  September 1, 2023 - December 31,2023

Affirmed DRDP Deadline:  January 20, 2024

 

 

Important Spring 2024 Dates

Observation Period: February 1, 2024 - May 31, 2024

Affirmed DRDP Deadline: May 19, 2024
